so i just picked up a bored out 750 motor...65mm, included a raceing cam for 150$. Problem is one of the pistons is bad, and I can't find one to replace it. The piston has ART on one side and a 879 on the inside. it is 65mm and domed...anyone seen one of these...or better yet have a spare?

Cafebob,
that sounds like a good deal, even with one piston missing. Apparently there are a few (three at least) piston manufacturers by the name ART (one in Taiwan, one in Japan, one in Thailand Do a google search for piston art and you get lots of hits). Sudco also carries ART (Japan) pistons for ATVs, maybe they can help you out? |

Post a picture, etc on SOHC4.net. If you're not a member then join. I'm sure there are a lot of other "sets of 3's" out there and perhaps one of the guys can not only ID it but provide a piston. |

positive Id'ed as Action Fours 65mm pistons for the F2+ motor. So...anyone have one?
turns out the guy i got them from put the in a K motor, Jim over at Action Fours told me that the compression ratio in that motor would be off the chart...hence the major detonation i found when i broke down the motor...
again i only need one guys....
