<  Performance issues  ~  first post here hello all

I have a nicely rebuilt 1976 KZ900. I want some more power out of her what carbs would you recomend? I am running rebuilt stock mikuni 26mm smoothbores

I'm not an expert on Kawis, but for 900cc I would recommend 31mm Keihins. Please note that you will also have to port the head to adapt the new carbs.

OTOH, if your engine is otherwise stock, the best bang for the buck would be a big bore kit and a hotter cam.
