Just thought I'd pass along some information to the members of Axl's forum about the POSSIBLE availability of new 1000 big bore kits once again. Jay, owner of APE, is attempting to put together new kits for us but the initial run will require 5 kits. The POSSIBLE part means we need at least 3 more committments for Jay to proceed. Currently there are 2 firm committments at www.SOHC4.net and I'd selfishly hope we can find 3 more. Jay has already started exclusive production of Crower rods for us and they are nothing but first class. He is talking about pistons only for approx US$475, full kit including pistons, sleeves, installation, block boring, case boring and gaskets for approx US$1000, or any combination in between. If you're interested log on to SOHC4.net and sign on for this project. May be the only chance you have to acquire a modern technology 1000 kit. |

OK guys MRieck and I have put in our orders. APE needs 4 (2 more) to get the first batch made. Let's make this happen. 50% down (US $450) gets you in. |
