Hi Axl,

Bought my self a original MARTIN monoshockframed F2. Present owner wanted to build a streetfighter Evil or Very Mad Evil or Very Mad but luckely stopped his projekt.
It's complete with all the MARTIN goody's, wheels, brakes, etc. Frame is still original nothing grinded off or welded on. Looks like the yellow one in the specialfahrwerke item.

Cheers, Rob

Nice find- post a pic up when you have a minute! Axl has a Martin too, one of the early spine framed ones.

Cheers

Actally I will pick it up on coming Tuesday, but here is a first one. Please do not mind the colors!!! And the seat!! It is complete with 2-up monocoque and a split one-up monocogue, tank is on the pic. Fairing, original wheels, Brembo brakes.

This one is from 1978.

Rob,

congratulations! Yes, I also have a Martin, also the framework type. It's the red one in the Martin section.

What a luck the PO gave up his streetfighter project early enough!

BTW, I will be in Holland next week, maybe we can meet while I'm there? I'll let you know when and where as soon as I know.

Cheers,
Axl

A little update on the Martin F2, well actually it is not a F2 anymore, the engine will go into one of my other projekts, A Turbo CB750.
I have a K7 engine waiting to be prepared to go into this beautiful frame.
Since I do not like some of the details of the Martin and certainly not the seat I was looking around for another seat, and I found what I was looking for. Since I was planning to build the Martin in the style of the RCB racers this is hat I came up with:

Hope you like it too. Also did some minor work on the lathe to replace the somewhat heavy and big stemsteeringnut.

And the last item I purchased was this beautiful WP shock to replace the original DeCarbon shock.

This is it, for now.

Cheers.
